Quality Control
All products sold by Elec-Import.com are inspected before every shipment according to the international standard ISO 2859 also named MIL STD 105E. We perform or appoint a third party quality inspection company to perform a strict quality control at different steps of the production process:
- At the beginning to inspect raw materials via an Intial Production Inspection. It allows us to check the reliability of components used by manufacturers. It is also the right time to perform a first random laboratory testing
- During the production, when at least 50% of the production is over we perform a During Production Inspection allowing us to perform a Pre Final Random Inspection. We usually also pick some sample of the production to perform lab testing and get certification from accredited and certified laboratory. Hence, yo will get the certification you need for your market (CE, UL, CUL, Rohs, FCC, etc...) in order your goods don't get stucked in the arrival custom.
- At the end of the production, when at least 80% of the production is over, we perform a Pre-Shipment Inspection also called Final Random Inspection.
- While loading the container when quantities are important. It allows us to check that container are not leaking, are clean and products well organized in the
container.
Quality Assurance
We regularly audit or make audit by third party inspection company our suppliers and new suppliers in order to check their quality management system is properly implemented in their production facilities.
Among the important amount of suppliers we source every year, we strongly select the best one considering their capacity to comply with international quality assurance standard ISO 9000 / ISO 9001.
The audit process is an important part of our added value since we only keep in our supplier list the best suppliers and the most reliable suppliers.
Those audit processes are exactly the same than the one performed by huge brand and market chiain such as Carrefour, Auchan, Wal-Mart.
Product Testing, Certifications and Norms
Our teamn have a long experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance and know quite well requirements and restrictions imposed by custom of the main market. For example, we perfectly knows that Europe require Rohs certifications for any kind of electronics products arriving in Europe. We work closely with certified and accredited laboratory and testing body to deliver to our clients the right certificated for their market.
